First of all, pardon my torn wallpaper in our bathroom…that is a result of my little boy trying to “redecorate”. I weighed in this morning at 224, so that means a total of 14 pounds that I have lost over the past week. I realize that a lot of that was most likely water weight and that the weight loss will slow down quite a bit, but I am STILL excited! I did have one bad day of eating unfortunately which was on Sunday, but I am not going to beat myself up over it. I am just going to continue on as if it didn’t happen, we are all only human. It has not been easy for me to give up high carbohydrate types of foods because I LOVE carbs! I am a big Dr. Pepper and Coke drinker and love breads and sweets, so this has been quite an adjustment. I am still thinking of possibly switching to South Beach or Weight Watchers eventually, but I am going to give Atkins a bit longer. I have not been on the Atkins Induction because it iw WAY too strict for me. I have been more on the Ongoing Weight Loss part of the diet and have been having around 20 to 30 carbs a day, except for Sunday and let’s just say we won’t discuss how many carbs that I consumed that day, lol! I have also been walking this week about 4 times, I did a mile to two miles each time. Let’s just remember that WE can do this RIGHT NOW! Why put it off another day?
