In this the second half of the stall series, I deal with what should be the reaction of those who aren’t losing inches or pounds for more than 4 weeks. Note: these are not for those that had a bad week or didn’t lose in the last two week.

Here’s a synopsis on what to try:
1. Take your measurements (make sure you are in a stall)
2. Start a food diary (Fitday, SparkPeople)
3. Evaluate what you are eating
4. Tweak exercise – “try 5″
5. Cut out certain groups (dairy, aspartame, caffiene, newly tried food groups)
6. Post your menu’s at online support group sites
7. Fasting diet (Fat Fast or Stillman’s Diet) for those with extreme metabolically resistance

Slimfast. It worked and fast but of course I gained that weight back and some. So if you can stick to it and find a way around it then go ahead but I wouldn't recommend it.

I need to know how to lose 10 pounds in my stomach and back in about a week.. does anyone have any diet and workout plans that might help?

if you want to loose it fast no eating after 6 drink 2 litres of water a day cut out all breads and pasta fill up on loads of fresh fruit and salad you have to eat food to loose weight if you dont eat the body stores fats so have a healthy breakast dinner and tea no snacking between meals and lots of excerise best of luck with the weight think positive and if you ve one bad day start fresh again the next morning also a tip ive found good have a glass of water before each breakfast dinner and tea helps fill you up

Would anyone have any tips or ides on how to lose 16 kg in 2 months. Diet plans, and tips and ideas are all welcome!!!!

There is no magic pill or program for weight loss, regardless of what others tell you. A healthy weight loss is about 2 – 3 lbs per week.

You need to follow a sensible diet and start exercising. Start eating fruits and vegetables and lean protein.

You need to eat what's called filling foods to not get hungry all the time. Things like apples and bananas are filling. Almost all types of beans, garbanzo, green, kidney, re-fried fat-free, beets, cauliflower are some of the many filling veggies.

Avoid over-use of salt, you will retain water.

Drink water, and if you don’t like it plain try a little squeezed lemon or lime in it. Drink at least 8 ozs before each meal.

You may also want to try switching from 3 meals a day and eating 4 or 5 lighter meals.

Exercise, … if you don’t already start walking or anything. Just don’t overdo it at first or you will find reasons to stop.

Losing weight requires a lifestyle change.

I want to lose weight, but I cant waste any money on pills, berries, tea, etc. What are some good diet plans(calorie wise) and exercises to help me lose the weight? I need help soon! Its summer I have to loose some weight.

Interval Training is a great workout because its essential in burning fat. Heres an example of a interval workout you can do:

Monday
OneWalk 10 minutes. Next 6 minutes alternate running 1 minute and walking 1 minute. Walk 4 minutes. Stretch.
Tuesday
Strength Training Program.
Stretch.
Wednesday
Walk 10 minutes.
Next 8 minutes alternate running 1 minute and walking 1 minute.
Walk 2 minutes.
Stretch.
Thursday
Strength Training Program.
Stretch.
Friday
Walk 8 minutes. Next 10 minutes alternate running 1 minute and walking 1 minute.
Walk 2 minutes.
Stretch.
Saturday
Rest Day
Sunday
Walk 6 minutes.
Next 12 minutes alternate running 2 minutes and walking 2 minutes.
Walk 2 minutes.
Stretch.

Weight training is also very important so you can tone your muscles, the more muscle you have the more calories you burn in a day. Now your diet should consist of lots of fruits, veggies and lean meats. It also helps to eat 5-6 "small" meals a day so you can keep your metabolism going, Drink plenty of water (64 oz) take a multivitamin and get plenty of sleep. Good Luck!

For example – Diet Coke is more unhealthy for you than normal Coca Cola because diet drinks contain high fructose syrup while normal ones contain real sugar.

Is this true?

Yes, they cause cancer and diabetes and make you more overweight then regular soft drinks.


Orange Glazed Chicken

Ingredients:
1 (3-3 1/2 pound) whole chicken
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate, undiluted
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place chicken breast side up on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Roast uncovered for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well. If desired, separate the glaze and reserve some to serve with chicken after cooking.*

Brush some of the orange mixture on chicken and roast uncovered another 15 minutes. Periodically brush chicken with the orange mixture until chicken is no longer pink (180 degrees using a meat thermometer). Serve chicken with remaining orange mixture.

Makes 6 Servings
Serving Size: 4 ounces

*Serving a marinade, glaze or sauce that has been used before cooking is not recommended. Any marinade, glaze or sauce that has come in contact with raw meat prior to cooking should be discarded or heated above boiling before serving to avoid potential food poisoning. Heating can kill any potential microorganisms remaining from the uncooked meat.

I am a thirteen year old girl, and i need to lose weight (20-25 pounds) and keep it off as quickly as possible but i don't want to buy any fake "miracle weight loss products" or hire a personal trainer. What should i do?

Try to eat healthy, small portions every 2 hours so you matabolism will be running constantly to burn off what you eat. Also, drink 64 oz. of water daily (IMPORTANT) it's better to drink it during or after a meal.example..

breakfast- fruit
snack- anything under 150 calories
lunch- 4 oz. of meat, 1 cup veggies
snack- fruit
dinner- 4 oz meat, 1 cup veggies
snack- anything under 150 calories.

**Don't drink regular pop!!, if needed, drink diet!
**Try not to eat for 5 hours before you go to sleep
**Lower your salt intake, stay away from fried foods!

Also, try to get in some exercise! Even 15 minutes a day will make a big difference. Dance in your bedroom, go for a walk, anything will work!

- I've been on this diet for 2 months and have lost 30 lbs. Your only 13 years old so I would try to stick to something similar to this, that way your getting in healthy foods and not restricting yourself from anything that your body needs. Try to keep motivated! It's hard at first, but after the first week you will start noticing good results and it's simple from then on!! Also, I don't know how much you weigh, but try to stay at a helathy weight, don't try to lose too much! Check out a BMI chart to see what a healthy weight range is for your age and body type!

I'm a 16 years old girl and I'm not fat at all but my arms look a little big and I want to make it skinnier.
I'm a vegan already so I know what right foods I should eat but what exercise would help so that I won't gain muscles?
I know If I want to lose weight from my arms then I'll have to lose weight all over my body.
So what types of exercise and how often should I do them so that my arms will be in perfect shape?

If you lift weights focusing on your biceps and triceps.
You will gain muscle if you keep increasing the weight that your lifting. However, If you focus on a light weight and just keep increasing your reps, then you may increase a little bit of muscle, but it will mostly just help you "tone" your arms so they arn't flabby, you definitely won't look muscular..lol.
